Red Robin is not a safe place to eat everybody touches your food while they're preparing it and packing it up and putting it on your tray to send it to your table not only does everybody make your food and touch it but even when they get your sauces their fingers going the sauce and they'll still put it on your plate and give it to you nine times out of ten they don't wash their hands I've witnessed this for several years working there I don't understand even when I would complain about it nobody did anything about it it's disgusting people can die from stuff like that. Bed were not comfortable at all. My shower door still had water stains that had not been cleaned properly. The bathroom tiles were still dirty and there were only three towels in the bathroom. The Pimalai in Thailand might have been a luxury hotel at one point of its life, but the years had not been kind. There are many hotels (even 3 star ones) in Thailand, where you pay a third the price and get much more value for your money. This is NOT a 5 Star hotel! It's a 3 Star at the very most! Don't be fooled by professional photos. They are not true to life!On a positive note, the best part of staying at the Pimalai was the transfer back to the airport! After having paid a top dollar, over SG$800 per night we had been had. What a waste of money! Koh Lanta is a great island, would go back, but won’t return to Pimalai!
Want to hear more . . . Don't upgrade to a beachfront villa it's not

I called to book my room reservation, and the service was really good, so I was really looking forward to my stay there. But boy was I disappointed. For such a high-end hotel, I was very surprised to find an opened bag of chips left in the drawer from the previous guest. Makes me wonder if they really cleaned and sanitized everything in the room. The front desk also told me there would be a microwave in my room when I called the night before, but that was not the case when I checked in to my room. Lastly, I requested a high floor, but was given a room on the first floor...At least the concierge service was good and prompt. But needless to say, my stay there was a big let down from the get go

BE WARNED! None of the rooms shown of the website or Expedia were even close to what we got. We reserved the city view hotel room which came with a queen size bed, a sitting area, balcony, kitchenette, and was supposed to be 400 sq. ft. What we got was basically a closet. 200 square feet MAX. We got a full size bed that was terribly uncomfortable, no balcony, no sitting area, the blinds were broken to the point we couldn’t open or shut them, no iron or ironing board, no city view (got a view of the side of another building). Nobody at the front wanted to acknowledge what they had given us compared to what we had paid for. At first they tried to give us a room with two beds. This was our hone

This is a terrible hotel. I personally will not stay here again. The rooms are unclean, there is dust everywhere. The rooms are clearly in a state of deterioration, there are chips to paint, chips to baths, unclean mirrors, a distinct lack of amenities and poorly trained ineffective staff, bordering rude.
I have stayed here many times prior and found the hotel to be satisfactory, however on this occasion I have found it in all aspects to be distinctly lacking.
Check in took approximately 45 minutes owing to a previous resident smoking drugs in the room (clearly a discerning hotel). Upon being relocated the room has a large amount of dust on all horizontal surfaces, especially around the frid
