So ordered from Applebees. Delivery by Doordash. Received notice order canceled by Doordash. Called Applebees who gave no real info. Never said they would send order out with someone new. No solution. So our order we paid for was cancelled by driver who now has our food, likely for her dinner. I get Doordash created the issue but Applebees had no solution and offered none. Spoke to manager who finally refunded order. We went somewhere else. This restaurant is on 6 mile cypress with a ton of other restaurants around. Guess they don't care. ALL THEY WANT IS YOUR MONEY. ONCE THEY HAVE IT, THEY COULD CARE LESS. We ordered an 18 pack, which is a large, chicken wings. We received 17 only. When I called, the manager David said I was welcome to drive all the way back to the restaurant for one wing or tough luck. He would not credit me another order or send a gift card and was unwilling to make any concessions. They are however, more than willing to take my money. Because that’s what it’s all about. Long story short.Ordered food for delivery, didn't get a third of my order, half of what I got was wrong.Called, got put on hold, then got hung up on after while. Called back, was told I had to call "corporate" and a manager would call me back in 20 mins or so. I dont even know why I bothered with them again.A few months back I had like 600 points, which should let me order a couple free pizzas. After spending an hour on their app trying to cash in my points and also speaking with the failures they have working their customer service, I gave up and deleted the app.Today I was overwhelmed with optimism and gave it another try. Now theyre saying my credit card is invalid.I didnt delete the account, to be clear. And im aware their pizza generally tastes like frozen pizza that was made by someone who is really good with an oven, but this is bullshit.
